
U.S. stocks traded higher midway through trading, with the Dow Jones index surging around 350 points on Tuesday.
The Dow traded up 0.69% to 51,622.17 while the NASDAQ jumped 0.79% to 27,694.08. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 0.86% to 7,840.48.

Utilities shares jumped by 1.9% on Tuesday.
In trading on Tuesday, energy stocks fell by 0.4%.
Top Headline
Lamb Weston Holdings Inc (NYSE:LW) shares jumped around 12% on Tuesday as the company reported better-than-expected first-quarter financial results and raised its FY27 guidance above estimates.
Lamb Weston reported quarterly earnings of 75 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 59 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.670 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.655 billion.

In commodity news, oil traded down 0.6% to $88.87 while gold traded up 0.6% at $4,183.60.
Silver traded up 0.1% to $61.36 on Tuesday, while copper fell 0.4% to $6.6170.
Euro zone
European shares were higher today. The eurozone’s STOXX 600 gained 0.5%, while Spain’s IBEX 35 Index rose 0.8%, London’s FTSE 100 rose 0.2%, Germany’s DAX climbed 0.6%, while France’s CAC 40 rose 0.3%.
Asia Pacific Markets
Asian markets closed higher on Tuesday, with Japan’s Nikkei 225 surging 1.05%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index gaining 1% and India’s BSE Sensex rising 0.95%.
