Sana Biotechnology To Present Data From Allogeneic Primary Islet Cell Therapy At European Association For The Study Of Diabetes

Sana Biotechnology, Inc. (NASDAQ: SANA), a company focused on changing the possible for patients through engineered cells, today announced a symposium presentation highlighting clinical data from an investigator-sponsored, first-in-human study transplanting UP421, an allogeneic primary islet cell therapy engineered with Sana’s hypoimmune platform (HIP) technology, into a patient with type 1 diabetes without any immunosuppression. The symposium will be held at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) Annual Meeting 2026 taking place from September 28 - October 2, 2026 in Milan, Italy.
