Valaris, Oracle, Kroger And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Monday

U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Nasdaq gaining around 100 points on Monday.
Shares of Valaris Ltd (NYSE:VAL) rose sharply during Monday's session after the company announced it will be acquired by Transocean for around $5.8 billion.
Under the terms of the all-stock transaction, Valaris shareholders will receive 15.235 shares of Transocean stock for each Valaris share.
Valaris shares jumped 21.8% to $76.02 on Monday.
Here are some other big stocks recording gains in today’s session.
- Nexstar Media Group Inc (NASDAQ:NXST) gained 12.4% to $248.70. President Donald Trump endorsed Nexstar Media Group's $6.2 billion acquisition of Virginia-based television broadcaster Tegna Inc. (NYSE:TGNA) on Saturday, reversing his November opposition to the deal.
- Intuitive Machines Inc (NASDAQ:LUNR) shares climbed 12.2% to $19.66.
- Terawulf Inc (NASDAQ:WULF) surged 12.1% to $16.03. TeraWulf will host its earnings conference call and webcast for the fourth quarter on Thursday, Feb. 26.
- Elevra Lithium Limited (NASDAQ:ELVR) gained 11.8% to $51.34.
- Bullish (NYSE:BLSH) gained 11.6% to $30.62.
- Gold.com Inc (NYSE:GOLD) shares surged 11.4% to $61.65.
- AXT Inc (NASDAQ:AXTI) surged 10.5% to $26.58.
- Applovin Corp (NASDAQ:APP) gained 10.3% to $448.66.
- WW International Inc (NASDAQ:WW) gained 10.2% to $24.13.
- Oracle Corp (NYSE:ORCL) gained 9.9% to $156.99. DA Davidson analyst Gil Luria upgraded Oracle from Neutral to Buy and maintained the price target of $180.
- Unity Software Inc (NYSE:U) gained 9.4% to $27.45.
- Zepp Health Corp – ADR (NYSE:ZEPP) gained 7.9% to $19.08.
- Roblox Corp (NYSE:RBLX) gained 7.6% to $71.46. Roth Capital analyst Eric Handler upgraded Roblox from Neutral to Buy and raised the price target from $78 to $84.
- Kroger Co (NYSE:KR) gained 7% to $72.24 after the company announced it appointed Greg Foran as CEO.
