Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, Apollo Global And A Tech Stock On CNBC's 'Final Trades'

On CNBC's “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Stephen L. Weiss of Short Hills Capital Partners named The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS) as his final trade.

On the earnings front, Goldman Sachs reported quarterly earnings of $14.12 per share on April 14, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $12.35 per share. The firm also reported quarterly sales of $15.06 billion, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $14.81 billion.

Bryn Talkington, Managing Partner of Requisite Capital Management, said Apollo Global Management, Inc. (NYSE:APO) will release earnings this Friday.

Analysts expect the company to report quarterly earnings at $1.85 per share on revenue of $964.53 million.

Jim Lebenthal of Cerity Partners picked QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM) as his final trade, which is scheduled to release earnings results for its second quarter on Wednesday, April 30, after the closing bell.

Analysts expect the company to report quarterly earnings at $2.81 per share on revenue of $10.65 billion.

Joseph M. Terranova of Virtus Investment Partners picked Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ:CHKP) after last week's selloff following earnings report.

On April 23, the company reported quarterly revenue growth of 7% year over year to $637.8 million, topping the analyst consensus estimate of $636.2 million.

Price Action:

  • Goldman Sachs shares gained 0.3% to close at $546.40 on Monday.
  • Apollo Global gained 2.2% to close at $136.36 during Monday's session.
  • Qualcomm shares fell 0.6% to close at $147.62 on Monday.
  • Check Point Software shares climbed 2.8% to settle at $212.41 during the session.
